Actors Gym Aust offers Self Test Audition Service in our Sydney Studio for Actors requiring a Digital Audition Test to submit to Casting Directors and Agents.
As part of our service, you will be invited into the studio to prepare for your self-test audition and meet your scene partner reader followed by the shoot and will be supplied with a USB copy and a digital copy of your audition scene.
When you audition for a role with a scene, you will play one character and it’s called a monologue.
When the scene has more than one character, this is when you need a scene partner reader.
The reader will speak the lines of the other character in the scene during the audition - this will benefit you in being able to hear the lines , respond and react as well which is important as this is what casting directors will be looking for.

Othniel Mani is a professional Actor, Writer & Director based in Sydney, Australia. Graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Stage & Screen Acting from AFTT, Othniel has since directed multiple plays & short films as the Creative Arts Director of Fathers Care.
Othniel's experience on screen and stage further established his skill both behind and on camera. He later created his own film company TreeOak Films, which has had successes locally and abroad.
His training on the job and in the classroom has developed his approach to performance and expression, leaving him equipped for diverse performers from all walks of life.
